Panther Logistics is a privately held
independent bulk and liquid terminal
operator, specializing in the storage
and handling of vegetable oil products,
bio fuels, petroleum, chemicals, and
biomass.
On request, Panther Logistics can provide
complementary logistic services for customers at its
terminal or at their location.
Panther Logistics can meet your bio fuels and
vegetable oil storage requirements in the U.S.
Midwest. We can accept and redistribute your
products by barge, rail, or truck, and with over
four decades of management experience we know how to
handle your products efficiently and safely. Panther
Logistics will work with you to provide the systems
and the locations to meet your requirements in a
timely and efficient manner.
With offices located on the Mississippi River in
Camanche, Iowa (140 miles due west of Chicago),
Panther Logistics operates a tank terminal with a
total storage capacity in excess of 20 million
gallons. This terminal is strategically located for
users especially in the U.S. Midwest. The majority
of its customers are companies operating in the bio
fuels and vegetable oil industries, for which
Panther Logistics stores a large variety of products
destined for a wide range of operations.
Panther Logistics is organized by market regions.
The company operates in a dynamic market determined
to a considerable extent by the flows of bio fuels
products and raw materials between production areas
and consumption areas. The accelerated economic
development of the bio fuels industry and the
increasing imbalance between production and
consumption is reinforcing these dynamics.
The port of Clinton, Iowa, the hub of bio fuels,
plays a key role in the worldwide logistic flows of
bio fuels and vegetable oils. Panther Logistics is
well represented in this port with tank storage
supported by an effective logistics infrastructure.
Panther Logistics offers a full range of terminal
services at this hub location, including the storage
and trans-shipment of products intended for export
to other states, countries or regions and the import
and distribution of products for the local market. In
addition, Panther Logistics is developing other
industrial terminals at various locations throughout
the U.S. These terminals will have integrated
business processes and support local logistics and
import and export activities, whereby the producers
outsource the terminal function to Panther Logistics
based on long-term contracts.
The added value offered by Panther Logistics in the
supply chain for its customers is our focus.
Outsourcing of activities, including storage, by the
bio fuels and vegetable oil industries is constantly
increasing. Growth in the bio fuels industry
requires focus on core activities and to reduce the
costs of the total supply chain, in conjunction with
ever-stricter quality requirements.
Panther Logistics' strength lies in the
combination of:
- tank terminals at strategic locations for its
customers;
- a strict policy with regard to safety, health,
the environment and quality;
- experienced and well-trained employees;
- a quality system based on the most stringent
industrial standards;
- strategic cooperation with third parties and
partnerships with customers.
These strengths are supported by a decisive
network in which the exchange of knowledge, skills
and "best practices" is the basic credo.
